Derek and Ann’s Travels in Canada

CANADA 2016 After our stay with our friends in Alaska, we went by plane down to Sitka. From Sitka we went on the Alaskan Marian Highway to Bellingham on the Canadian US border. 3 nights on a working ferry which was great as it stopped at different towns on the way down the coast. People were sleeping in tents on deck. Certainly interesting and met some characters. Arrived in Bellingham to take the Amtrak train for nearly 2 hours to Vancouver. We were very impressed with Vancouver even though we were there for only a couple of nights before flying on the Grand Rapids. The beach has huge logs everywhere so that you could lean or sit on them.
